Terms and Conditions of Hire – Luxury Toilets

Site: The Company’s Quotation assumes the site is:

  1. Level and firm ground with easy and sufficient access for both the toilet unit and delivery vehicle.
  2. Once the toilet is in situ, all set up and placed as directed if the unit is required to be relocated this will be charged at an additional £100.00 plus vat
  3. Capable of supporting the weight of the toilet unit both during the installation and during delivery/collection
  4. Sweet Pea Luxury Toilets Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage to the site on which the unit is placed or damage to the site involved in the delivery or collection of the unit

It is the responsibility of the Hirer to meet our staff on arrival at the site, alternatively, to mark the ground or send a detailed plan or drawing beforehand. (A charge would be made for waiting time).

No guarantee can be given that the equipment will be removed the following day. We will do our best to meet the wishes of our clients whenever possible.

The Hirer is responsible for all waste which enters the holding tanks – ownership of the waste passes to us upon collection – we accept no liability for any environmental issues caused by overflowing tanks

All damage to portable toilets is chargeable

Cleaning charges will be added when portable toilet units are blown or tipped over

Weather Conditions:

In adverse weather conditions it may not be possible to position the toilet unit on grass or similar surfaces. Alternative arrangements for the placing of the unit should be in place before the arrival of the unit itself.

Permits:

The Hirer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for the delivery of Sweet Pea Luxury Toilets Ltd equipment on the site, including those required by Sweet Pea Toilets staff to obtain access to the site.

Loss or Damage:

The Hirer is wholly responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment whilst on site or otherwise in the possession of or under the control of the Hirer arising out of any cause outside of the direct control of the Company and/or its employees and in the event of any loss or damage however caused agrees to indemnify the Company for the full cost of any repair or replacement of the equipment.

No decorative tinsel, crepe paper or self adhesive material to be affixed to the toilet units without prior arrangement.

No naked flame i.e. candles or similar are to be placed in the units at any time.

Emergency call outs for block toilets are charged @ £100.00 call out charge plus £50.00 per toilet blockage. (Plus vat) Units are checked and tested on site prior to leaving site. All toilets are flushed and double check that they are in working order.  Most blockages are due to excess toilet paper/nappies/bottles etc being put down the toilet pan.

Damage Waiver:

Sweet Pea Toilets Hire can arrange a damage waiver on your behalf at 40% of the hire fee.

Cancellation or Premature Termination of Contracts:

In the event of the Hirer desiring to cancel the contact after a firm order has been placed, if the cancellation date is 14 days or more prior to the delivery date, there will be a charge of 20% of the hire charge; if the cancellation 3-13 days prior to the delivery date, the charge will be 50% of the hire charge and if the cancellation is less than 3 days prior to the delivery date, the full charges are due. The 10% deposit required to secure a booking is a non-refundable deposit.

Force Majeure:

While every effort will be made by the Company to carry out any order accepted, the full performance of it is subject to variation or cancellation by the Company consequent on any event outside the direct control of the Company or its employees.

Payment:

Prior to, or at the time the toilet unit is delivered on site.
